Positivo Servers & Solutions: Positivo Servers & Solutions is a company specialized in the production and commercialization of servers, mini PCs, and storage solutions. It joined Positivo Tecnologia in 2018, when it was still called Accept.
Although it was founded in 1989, the history of Positivo Tecnologia begins in 1972. This is because the company was born through Grupo Positivo, one of the largest groups in the educational segment in Brazil. In summary, the Grupo Positivo was founded by a group of teachers who created a school and a printing house.
Basically, the Group succeeded with its innovative teaching methodology and in 1979 began selling books and services to other schools across Brazil. Moreover, Positivo Tecnologia's involvement with education can be perceived through the Educacional, an ecosystem of technology and innovation.

The intention is to create and find technologies that inspire innovative ways of learning and teaching. To this end, Educacional brings together all those passionate about education, such as: schools, institutions, edtechs, and foundations.
Thus, Educacional has educational suites that coordinate solutions from the Ecosystem organized in a way that complements and provides indicators for schools with the aim of contributing to students' learning.
Positivo Tecnologia was created in May 1989 with the intention of manufacturing and selling computers to schools that were clients of Grupo Positivo. In the following year, the company recognized the opportunity to provide computers and technology solutions to public institutions and companies through public tenders.
In 1994, Positivo Tecnologia created the educational technology segment with the intention of marketing educational software for schools and retail. Subsequently, the company launched the Portal Educação (in 2000), aimed at private schools, and the following year launched the Portal Aprende Brasil, focused on public schools.

In 2004, the company entered the retail market selling computers to the major networks in Brazil and after just nine months became the largest computer manufacturer in the country. Thus, in the following year, the company began selling a line of desktops, servers, and notebooks to the corporate hardware market.
In 2006, Positivo Tecnologia received the award for Best Company in the Technology and Computing Sector from Exame magazine and in the same year reached the milestone of 1 million computers produced. The company's IPO took place in December 2006, raising R$ 604.1 million through a public offering of shares.
In 2008, the company began the project of verticalizing the production of desktop motherboards in Curitiba and LCD monitors in Ilhéus. The following year, Positivo continued the verticalization project in the manufacturing of motherboards and memory boards for desktops and acquired the Kennex computer brand.
In 2010, verticalization reached the cabinets, and in the same year, Positivo began the internationalization process through a partnership with BGH in Argentina. In summary, 50% of the share capital of Informática Fueguina S.A (IFSA), a vehicle for the joint venture focused on the commercialization of desktops, notebooks, all-in-ones, e-readers, and tablets in Argentina and Uruguay, was acquired. The management of the partnership is shared between Positivo and BGH.

In 2011, Positivo launched the Positivo Ypy, the first tablet developed exclusively for Brazilian consumers with digital content in Portuguese. The following year marked its debut in the mobile phone market with the launch of three touchscreen smartphone models and two devices with physical keyboards.
In 2015, the company launched the Quantum unit focused on selling high-performance smartphones, and the following year Positivo received the license to sell the Vaio brand in Brazil. Until then, the company was called Positivo Informática, but in 2017 it changed its name to Positivo Tecnologia.
In 2018, Positivo Tecnologia acquired 80% of Accept, and in the same year, Positivo opened the first Private Equity Fund (FIP) in the form of a single shareholder. Finally, in 2019, the company launched the Positivo Casa Inteligente brand with smart home solutions.
