Plascar Participações Industriais is a company that operates in the automotive sector through the industrialization and commercialization of parts for motor vehicles. Its products are divided into three lines: interior, exterior, and lighting.
Plascar meets the needs not only of passenger vehicles but also of larger vehicles. Plascar's headquarters is located in Jundiaí, but it also has two units in Minas Gerais, one in the city of Varginha and another in the city of Betim.
An important detail is that Plascar invests heavily in technology so that it can create solutions for the segments where it excels. In short, the products offered by Plascar are:

The history of Plascar Participações Industriais began in 1963 with the founding of Oscar S.A Indústria de Artefatos de Borracha. The company was founded as a rubber industry, but in 1973, it began to operate in the automotive market.
In 1982, Plascar S.A. Indústria e Comércio was established. Also in 1982, Agricar – Agrícola e Comércio Ltda was created, focusing on agricultural exploration and commercial representation.
In 1983, Agricar was replaced by Multicar S.A Indústria e Comércio, and in 1984, Multicar S.A began operating under the name OSA S.A. Organização, Sistemas e Aplicações.
The company's IPO came in 1989, and in 1991 it began operations at the new Jundiaí – SP Unit in the Industrial District. By 1994, the company expanded its production capacity by inaugurating two units in Minas Gerais.
In 1995, the share control of OSA S.A was acquired by BTR Group, through its affiliate in Brazil, Permali do Brasil Indústria e Comércio Ltda. In 1997, the brand Plascar Indústria e Comércio Ltda was created, and in 1998 the company was acquired by Eletromecânica Carto Ltda.
In the year 2000, Permali do Brasil was purchased by S.W. Textron International Holding S.L, which became the controlling entity of Plascar. In the same year, Plascar Indústria e Comércio Ltda. had its corporate name changed to Textron Automotive Trim Brasil Ltda.
The following year, the share control was acquired by Collins & Aikman Corporation. Thus, the company's name changed again, and it became Collins & Aikman do Brasil Ltda.
In 2005, the company changed its name again and adopted its current designation: Plascar Indústria de Componentes Plásticos Ltda. Finally, in 2019, control of Plascar was acquired by Mapa Capital, and the company's restructuring process began.
