A BMM Logística is a Brazilian logistics operator with over 20 years of experience, focusing on road freight transportation in Mercosur.
Having two main areas of operation, the company focuses on:
TM – Transportation Management: characterized by the transportation of general cargo, in the full truckload mode, known as FTL – Full Truck Load, and the less-than-truckload mode, LTL – Less Than Truck Load. In the FTL mode, the company transports the following cargo: wood and derivatives, automotive, chemical and petrochemical, steel and construction, paper and pulp, serving clients in Brazil and other South American countries such as Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay.
DCC – Delicate Operations: as the name suggests, the type of cargo transported consists of items characterized as delicate. In this type of transportation, services are generally provided for forestry or agribusiness items, as well as other items from the industrial segment, which are loads with transportation configured at the client's request.
Founded in 1996 in the city of São José dos Pinhais, Paraná, focusing on DCC transportation of gases. The first years of the company are dedicated to its development. Soon, in 2007, the expansion to the F&A delivery model occurs. In the following year, in 2008, international transportation operations in Mercosur begin. By 2011, the company starts its DCC Operations with an industrial focus.
Between 2015 and 2016, the company transitions to the S/A model, and in the following year, the first international investor, Stratus, comes on board. A new management model is adopted by the company.
The year 2018 is marked by the strong organic growth of the company, which establishes its technology and innovation committee. There is also the acquisition of Transeich. In 2019, BBM prepares for the opening of its public offering, with registration on the stock exchange, in addition to the inauguration of its logistics platform, the BBM Platform.
By 2020, BBM already has over 5,300 employees and completes nearly 16 million deliveries per year, serving in 7 countries.
