Armac is a publicly traded company that operates in the machinery rental sector, headquartered in Barueri – São Paulo, founded in 1994. It works with two rental models for short-term demands, daily, and also for continuous operations.
The company started solely to meet a local demand, aiming to supply the needs of clients who had small earthmoving projects. Furthermore, this business model lasted until 2009, when the company's focus shifted to machinery rental.
In 2013, with the arrival of José Augusto Pereira Aragão at Armac, the company restructured the way it rents its machines. By 2015, Fernando Pereira Aragão, with experience in the financial market, began to assist the company in its business strategy.
In 2018, the results of good management, combined with responsible planning for creation, made Armac one of the leading machinery rental companies in the country. With the arrival of 2020, a significant financial investment of 125 million reais was made in Armac by the SPEED fund, which is managed by Gávea Investimentos.
With this investment, the company adopted a new growth pace and ended the year with over 1,046 pieces of equipment in its fleet. Thus, in 2021, Armac celebrated its rapid and sustainable development with the IPO on the Brazilian stock exchange, moving 1.5 billion reais.
In 2022, it completed the acquisition process of two other companies, RCB and Bauko Movimentação, which brought even more diversification to the company's product portfolio.
