Shortly thereafter, the company also granted concessions for generation and transmission of electricity with the companies: EBTE, ESDE, ETEM, ETVG, TME, TNE, ETSE, Ferreira Gomes, and Energia dos Ventos. A large part of the contracts were made through auctions organized by ANEEL. Additionally, between 2008 and 2011, Alupar received authorization for the implementation of PCH Morro Azul in Colombia.
In 2013, Alupar participated in auctions organized by ANEEL, but this time to sell electricity from PCHs Verde 08 and Antônio Dias, with 30.0 MW and 23 MW respectively. Still in 2013, the company conducted a public offering (IPO), where the proceeds from the offering were used for new ventures.
