Westwing began its operations in Brazil in December 2011 and is part of the German group of the same name. The Brazilian company operates as a shopping platform for home products, decoration, and lifestyle, selecting the best opportunities made by major brands in the segment.
Its business model includes curation as a major differentiator, ensuring that all offered stock is broadly reviewed and selected, which sets it apart from other e-commerce and national retail platforms.

Previously only active in the online market, Westwing currently has a physical store in São Paulo. Its catalog features over 3,000 suppliers and more than one million SKUs (Stock Keeping Unit), which are codes used to uniquely register each product in the company's inventory.
In this regard, concerned with meeting all demand, the company works with four logistical models that complement each other and provide full support to Westwing's extensive supply chain.
Westwing Comércio Varejista S.A. also created its own logistics network, Westlog. The goal of its creation was to seek a better level of services provided to customers, reducing costs and delivery times in regions of greater São Paulo, which also has an urban hub in the West Zone of the capital.
Westwing operates in Brazil as part of the German group of the same name, and its operations in the country began in December 2011. The company acts as a shopping platform for home products, decoration, and lifestyle.

The start of its operations in Brazil was dedicated solely to online retail, with WestwingClub. Starting in 2014, the company opened a physical store in São Paulo and began operating in physical retail as well.
In October 2018, the company had all of its shares acquired by the private equity vehicle, Axxon Group. This acquisition made the company independent from the main operation of the global Westwing group, which operates in several countries.

In recent years, the company has also begun to explore the lifestyle segment, selling cosmetics, personal hygiene products, clothing items, and accessories, in addition to appliances and electronics.
In this sense, as part of its expansion in its operating segment, Westwing began to integrate into the Novo Mercado segment of B3, after conducting its initial public offering on February 11, 2021. The company's IPO raised R$400 million in its initial offering.
