Mobly is a technology company operating in the e-commerce segment. Founded in 2011, the company has become a reference in retail, selling furniture and decor items, with over 250,000 items including furniture and decorative objects.
The company has a distribution center in São Paulo and, in 2019, Mobly expanded its business by opening centers in Minas Gerais and one in Santa Catarina. However, its first physical store was inaugurated in São Paulo. The brand also has outlets in Guarulhos and Campinas.
Recently, the brand further expanded its area of operation by opening a Mega Store in São Paulo, in addition to other outlets. The year 2020, even with the pandemic, was responsible for award nominations and for a total base of over 300,000 active users navigating through the app.
In this sense, Mobly has 11 physical stores, distributed among São Paulo, Guarulhos, Campinas, Taubaté, Mogi das Cruzes, and Várzea Paulista, in addition to the three aforementioned distribution centers.
In 2021, Mobly began trading shares on the Stock Exchange, launching its initial public offering (IPO). The fundraising is aimed at strengthening Mobly, as well as its financial structure and various investments in different aspects.
After a period of studies in the United States, entrepreneurs Victor Noda and Marcelo Marques returned to Brazil and joined Mario Fernandes to found Mobly SA. Thus, in 2011, the company began its activities by raising funds from institutional investors.
Subsequently, still in the same year, the German group Rocket Internet became the controlling shareholder, in order to carry out a corporate reorganization, responsible for uniting all investments in home & living under one holding, giving rise to Home24, the largest shareholder of Mobly in the following years.
The following years were marked by the brand's expansion, and in 2018, the company underwent a new corporate reorganization, which led to the direct control of Mobly Varejista and its two subsidiaries, Mobly Hub (carrier) and Mobly Brand (licensing).
Mobly's first physical store was inaugurated in 2019, in São Paulo. Currently, there are 11 stores, distributed among mega stores, outlets, and Mobly ZIP. In 2020, Mobly became a publicly traded company and incorporated its subsidiaries' participation.
However, the celebration of Mobly's Initial Public Offering (IPO) took place in 2021, marking the beginning of a new phase of share trading in the Novo Mercado segment of B3. The initial offering was responsible for moving more than R$800 million.
