VIVEO is a company focused on products and services in the hospital sector, which seeks to simply encompass the entire range of health-related products by offering agile and innovative solutions.
Seeking to maintain the tradition in the distribution of hospital materials and medications, VIVEO, since 1996 – the beginning of its activities, always looks to innovate in the market using technology, providing quality services and creating good business relationships.
The company is one of the few in the sector that has its own fleet of trucks, trying to ensure greater control and reliability in deliveries.
In 2021, the company debuted on the Brazilian stock exchange, offering 35 million shares priced from R$ 19.92 to R$ 25.81, moving just over R$ 1.876 billion.
Formerly the Mafra group, now VIVEO, was founded in 1996 by Carlos Mafra, aiming at the distribution of medications, materials, and supplies in the hospital sector, in the city of Catalão, GO. Its initial activity was primarily the export, import, and distribution of medications, pharmaceutical supplies, and other products related to the health sector.
In 2013, the network moved its headquarters to Ribeirão Preto, SP, and became a closed capital company in December 2015.
In 2017, the company acquired Tecnocold, specialized in vaccine solutions. In the same year, BSB Hospitalar was incorporated into the group, helping to expand operations across 4 of the 5 regions of the country. The following year, the administration of the group transitioned to market executives. In the same year, 91.09% of the capital of Cremer S.A. was acquired, and in October, the remaining shares of Cremer were acquired by the company, which became 100% owner of its share capital.
In 2019, 100% of Expressa Distribuidora de Medicamentos Ltda was acquired by the company. In 2020, the group further boosted its growth by acquiring the share capital of Flexicotton, Biogenetrix Importação, Vitalab, Expressa, and Byogene. 35.71% of Far. ME was also acquired. Alongside these achievements, during the same period, investments in the company's logistics area were made.
The year 2021 was marked by the company's capital opening on the Brazilian stock exchange. As a result, internal reorganizations and several successful acquisitions were carried out. In 2022, the company sought to continue expanding its operations by acquiring Azimute Med, Life, and FAMAP.
