Tecnisa is a company that operates in the real estate sector, which is considered cyclical consumption. Its main activity is the integrated trade of real estate.
Thus, the company adopts a model where it operates both in construction and in the incorporation and sale of properties. In other words, it actively engages in the incorporation, construction, and sale of a property.
Tecnisa is considered one of the largest companies in the real estate sector in Brazil. It has launches and developments in Brasília, Curitiba, Fortaleza, Manaus, São José dos Campos, Salvador, Santos, and São Paulo.

Regarding the company's numbers, there are over 7,300,000 m² launched in total. It operates through developments such as: apartments, commercial units, houses, lots, flats, and hotel units.
Finally, the company also has investments in technology aimed at improving its service. The company is characterized by its focused customer service, especially in the digital realm.
The history of the company that is now a leader in its sector began in September 1977, when civil engineering student from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP), Meyer Joseph Nigri, created Tecnisa Engenharia.
When founding the company, Nigri's goal was for Tecnisa to become a reference among construction companies. Thus, during the 1980s, the company invested in innovative measures for its sector.

Among the measures taken, the one that stood out the most was the policy of reducing and optimizing inputs used in construction. This measure significantly reduced the materials consumed.
As a result, there was a decrease in costs compared to the market average of other companies in the same sector. In the following decade, the company continued to innovate and introduced some concepts that differentiated it from its competitors.
For example, the company introduced the concept of grand space. In summary, Tecnisa built larger buildings in the upscale areas of São Paulo, where it offered a larger area than its competitors' buildings, without a proportional increase in price. In other words, it began to deliver more for less.
Additionally, Tecnisa was a pioneer in creating the concept of roof top, which consists of leisure areas on the roof rather than on the ground floor, as is the case in most developments. Finally, it was also the first company to deliver developments with equipped and decorated common areas.

In the 1980s and 1990s, Tecnisa made several innovations. However, it was in the 2000s that it stood out the most with its innovations. For example, in 2000 it was the first company to sell a property over the internet.
Moreover, Tecnisa was the first company to have an online team of brokers focused exclusively on selling apartments via the internet. In fact, Google recognized Tecnisa as the real estate company with the best practices in sponsored links in the world.
Tecnisa was also the first company to provide video service over the internet to clients and operate 24 hours without interruption in service to potential buyers.
In the area of customer relationship, the company developed a program that encompasses 42 contact points, which are made from the purchase of the property off-plan to the delivery of the keys.

Tecnisa was also featured as one of the companies with the best practices in customer relationship in the book O Brasil encanta o Cliente. Other companies featured in the book include: O Boticário, Pão de Açúcar, TAM Aéreas, and Fleury Laboratórios.
In 2002, Tecnisa began investing in social projects directly correlated with the company's business. Some of these projects are:
Literacy in Construction Sites;
Future Professionals;
First Job Project;
Neighbor Project.
Over the years, Tecnisa continued to develop and established itself as an innovative company. In 2007, with thirty years of existence, the company went public.

In 2011, the infrastructure works for Jardim das Perdizes began, considered the largest real estate development to be launched in the city of São Paulo in the last 40 years.
The neighborhood was planned with modern and sustainable technologies. Finally, even today, Tecnisa continues to seek innovation in its developments.
