Rossi Residencial is part of Grupo Rossi, one of the leading engineering, construction, and real estate development groups in Brazil.
The group is characterized by the development of modern administrative and operational methods and the use of efficient construction technologies.

Rossi has been involved in the development, management, and execution of important works in Brazil such as Praça Roosevelt in São Paulo, the Elevado do Jaó in Rio de Janeiro, and the first stretch of subway in Brazil, between the Santa Cruz and Praça da Árvore stations in São Paulo.
Rossi Residencial was founded in 1980. Initially, it focused on the development of high-end residential properties located in the metropolitan area of São Paulo.
However, in 1992 the company began to operate in segments aimed at the middle and lower classes. The expansion of its operations to the middle and lower classes was a response to the housing finance problem that at the time made it difficult for the middle class to purchase properties.

In 1997, Rossi issued shares on BM&FBovespa and ADRs on the New York Stock Exchange, raising US$ 100 million to invest in the expansion of its business.
By 2002, the company diversified its investments and strengthened its presence with higher-income clients by acquiring América Properties, focused on the construction of high-end residential and commercial properties.
In 2003, Rossi secured its growth by raising R$ 80 million in the capital markets and joining Level 1 of the corporate governance of the stock exchange. Subsequently, in 2006, Rossi entered the Novo Mercado, the highest level of corporate governance on the exchange.
Also in 2006, a fundraising of R$ 1.012 billion enabled the purchase of new land, debt repayment, and working capital for new ventures.
Finally, in 2006, the company also established joint ventures with other developers and diversified its products by entering the urban planning projects segment.

In 2007, a dedicated sales team was created, with professionals aligned with the company's values. The following year, Rossi's shares became part of the theoretical portfolio of Ibovespa, the main index of the Brazilian stock exchange.
In 2009, the company launched the Rossi Ideal project line, focusing on the economic segment and within the guidelines of Minha Casa, Minha Vida.
Also in 2009, the company established a joint venture with Construtora Capital to operate in states in Northern Brazil. The following year, the Rossi Mais project line was launched, focused on the economic segment.
A joint venture was also established with Toctao Engenharia to operate in Goiânia and surrounding areas. In 2011, a joint venture between Rossi and Construtora Norcon was established to operate in the markets of Alagoas, Pernambuco, Sergipe, and Bahia, under the Norcon Rossi brand.
Also in 2011, Rossi invested in large-scale construction technologies and established precast factories in Brasília (DF), Campinas (SP), Campo Grande (MT), Manaus (AM), Hortolândia (SP), Porto Alegre (RS), and Serra (ES).

By 2012, Rossi presented the development process of two new business areas:
Rossi Commercial Properties: Focused on commercial centers related to shopping developments;
Rossi Urbanizadora: Highlighting areas in the process of subdivision.
In 2013, the company undertook an innovative action by using Hangout and YouTube to conduct online property sales. Finally, in 2014, the company created Robot View, which allowed clients to view properties remotely through a robot with a camera.
