Recrusul is a reference in the production of road implements. In addition, it offers transportation solutions, has a line of tractors, and provides parts and assistance services.
Thus, the company offers the following products and services:

Recrusul originated in 1954 as a result of the transformation of the quota company Indústria e Comércio de Refrigeração do Sul Ltda. At the time it was founded, Recrusul was focused on manufacturing commercial refrigerators, refrigerated counters, and ice cream machines.
Already in 1958, to meet the demand of the slaughterhouses in the region where it was located, the company began producing refrigerated bodies and modular cold chambers.
From 1970, Recrusul made several technological advancements and began developing new products such as, for example, the first refrigerated wagons for R.F.F.S.A. in 1971.
In addition, the company also developed reinforced plastic bodies with fiberglass and insulated with rigid polyurethane foam. Between 1978 and 1981, several products were implemented in the company's portfolio, such as:
Chassis for articulated buses for Saab-Scania and Volvo, in 1978.
Self-supporting tank semi-trailers for liquid transport with greater capacity than others produced in Brazil until then (1981).
Components for industrial refrigeration (1981).
Cold chambers and warehouses (1981).
Large freezing tunnels (1981).
The year 1985 was important for Recrusul, as it went public on the stock exchange, aiming to raise funds to be invested in its expansion and modernization.
From the second half of the 90s, Brazil and the world went through several changes related to interest rates, inflation, and crises. Despite Recrusul trying to reinvent itself to survive the economic and political crises of the period, it was unsuccessful.
The result of this was the request for judicial recovery at the end of 2005. In April 2008, a group of investors bought the company and took several measures to restructure the business.
Thus, in December 2008, after the company completed several important stages in the Recovery Plan, the Civil Court of the District of Sapucaia do Sul – RS, closed the judicial recovery process, issuing the termination sentence.
As the industrial refrigeration market was fragmented, Recrusul decided to focus its business on road implements. Between 2010 and 2013, the road implement sector had a significant boost with easy access to financing and low interest rates.
However, in 2014 this scenario changed and the market entered a downturn cycle. Nevertheless, Recrusul managed to survive this period and in 2018 it returned to significant production levels.
The following year, Recrusul acquired MAXXIBRASIL Indústria de Tratores Agrícolas Ltda. With this, Recrusul delved deeper into the agribusiness sector, which is one of the main pillars of the Brazilian economy.
