M. Dias Branco S.A. Indústria e Comércio de Alimentos is a leading company in its segment, that is, the sale of cookies and pasta in general. Present in all Brazilian states, the company has over 65 years of experience in the food sector.

In numbers, this means, for example, that 85% of the wheat flour the company uses is produced by the Company itself. In fact, due to its wheat flour production, the company is considered the third largest producer of the food in Brazil.

Additionally, M. Dias Branco is also responsible for producing 98.7% of the vegetable fat used in the manufacturing processes.

The history of M. Dias Branco began in 1936, in Ceará. Manoel Dias Branco was responsible for acquiring a bakery, Imperial, and from the purchase, he started to manufacture cookies, pasta, and bread under the Imperial brand.

The bakery grew and expanded its services, and Manoel Dias, consequently, invested in the installation of his own machinery for the company's pasta production. At the same time, the entrepreneur decided, along with his brothers, to open a partnership, which they named M. Dias Branco & Irmãos.
With the growing production process, the simple bakery – which manufactured pasta, bread, and cookies – became a factory specialized in the production of pasta and cookies. After two years, Francisco Ivens de Sá Dias Branco joined the brothers' partnership, and thus, the factory came to be called M. Dias Branco & Cia Ltda.
