Founded in August 1980, Lupatech S.A. is a Brazilian company focused on the oil and gas sector. It operates by providing equipment and services for the production stage, in addition to standing out in South America in the industrial valve manufacturing sector.
Lupatech works by supplying polyester cables, valve lines, tools for well completion, pipe coatings, gas compressors, fiber optic monitoring systems, and general services on platforms.

The company experienced significant growth during the 1990s and 2000s, which was very beneficial for Lupatech, as it expanded its product portfolio and became the largest manufacturer in Latin America of valves for the oil and gas industry and other industrial sectors.
In 2006, the company went public and completed its IPO, trading its shares on the Novo Mercado of B3. In May 2015, however, the company entered into judicial recovery and has fully met all its obligations to date.
