OceanPact Serviços Marítimos S.A is an important provider of marine services in Brazil. Its operations focus on offering services for the study, protection, monitoring, and sustainable use of the sea and marine resources, operating in the oil and gas sectors as well as others, such as port, navigation, and mining.

The company's operations concentrate on the segments of Vessels and Services. Within these segments, it is responsible for operating in three distinct areas, namely: environment, underwater operations, and logistics and engineering.

Consolidated as one of the leading companies offering environmental solutions, OceanPact's services reach clients in the oil and gas, port terminal, mining, and steel sectors.

In this sense, it is responsible for providing environmental protection services, environmental studies, operational safety, as well as geophysical and geotechnical services, also developing repairs and maintenance, in addition to marine logistics, industrial cleaning, and port and coastal engineering.

Founded in 2007 in Rio de Janeiro, OceanPact Serviços Marítimos S.A. is one of the main providers of marine environment services in Brazil. Since its inception, the company has focused on consultancy and response to environmental emergencies, in oil spill response operations both in Brazil and in other countries around the world and throughout Latin America.

Since the beginning of its operations, the OceanPact team has been involved in major environmental incidents, such as the oil spill in the Bay of Paranaguá (2004), in the Frade Field (2011), as well as participating in operations in the United States in 2010. It has also been involved in Brazilian episodes, such as the environmental disasters caused by dam failures in Mariana (2015) and Brumadinho in 2019.

In 2011, a joint venture with the American company Witt O’Brien’s led to the creation of Witt O’Brien’s do Brasil, which began providing specialized and interdisciplinary consulting services in the areas of environment, safety, and risk management, promoting sustainability and operational resilience.

During the year 2013, OceanPact expanded its marine and environmental services and this time the company joined the English company Gardline, in another joint venture that led to the creation of Gardline do Brasil, currently recognized as OceanPact GEO. After the total acquisition by OceanPact, the company came to have the largest fleet of research boats in Brazil.

Continuing the company's expansion process, OceanPact took control of the Brazilian company Servmar in 2018, also beginning operations in the Environmental Defense Centers (CDAs) of Petrobrás.

Currently consolidated, OceanPact has a team of over 300 oceanographers, biologists, graduates in nautical sciences, and a vast array of engineers from various fields, all responsible for providing differentiated services. In addition, the company also operates with an extensive fleet of vessels acting in combating spills at sea and in collecting oceanographic data.
