General Shopping and Outlets do Brasil is a company focused on operating and managing shopping centers and outlets throughout Brazil. In total, the company has a stake in more than 15 ventures.

General Shopping and Outlets do Brasil operates in several states located in the South, Southeast, Central-West, and Northeast.
The company not only rents spaces to retailers and manages shopping centers, but also manages parking lots and provides water, energy, and other necessary services.
The history of General Shopping and Outlets do Brasil began in 1989, when Poli Shopping Guarulhos was inaugurated. Poli Shopping was born from the department store Casa Poli.
In 1998, as a result of the expansion of activities in the sector, the company inaugurated Internacional Shopping Guarulhos.

Subsequently, in 2005, General Shopping and Outlets do Brasil began the process of prospecting new projects with the aim of diversifying its geographical area of operation.
Thus, the first acquisition with this objective was Santana Parque Shopping, inaugurated in 2007.
In 2006, the company planned its Power Center, aiming to further increase its participation in the sector. Therefore, on July 22, 2006, it inaugurated Auto Shopping.
In the following year, General Shopping and Outlets do Brasil purchased 7 new ventures: Shopping Light, Suzano Shopping, Cascavel JL Shopping, Top Center Shopping São Paulo, Parque Shopping Prudente, Poli Shopping Osasco, and Shopping do Vale.
Also in 2007, the company went public on the stock exchange, where it is listed in the Financial sector and in the Real Estate Exploration segment.

In 2008, the company purchased 100% of Shopping Unimart, and in 2009, it inaugurated Outlet Premium in São Paulo. This was the first outlet of major brands in Brazil and Latin America.
In 2011, its 14th venture, Parque Shopping Barueri, was inaugurated. In 2012, Outlet Premium Brasília was inaugurated, located in Alexânia (GO), 70 km from the capital of Brazil.
In the same year, the company acquired Shopping Bonsucesso in Guarulhos. The following year, Outlet Premium Salvador and Parque Shopping Sulacap were inaugurated.
In 2014, General Shopping and Outlets do Brasil sold its stake in two ventures: Top Center Shopping and Santana Parque Shopping. In 2015, it sold more stakes, and in 2018, the company rebranded to General Shopping and Outlets do Brasil.
Also in 2018, the company purchased an Outlet in Fortaleza, and in 2019, it announced a new Outlet Premium in São Paulo and completed the sale of its 10.1% stake in Internacional Shopping Guarulhos. Finally, in 2020, Outlet Premium Grande São Paulo was inaugurated in the city of Itaquaquecetuba.
