Fertilizantes Heringer is a company with a product portfolio composed of various formulations of fertilizers.
All of the company's fertilizers are registered with MAPA in accordance with current regulations.
The production process of fertilizers is carried out through the mixing of granules of macro-nutrients, with or without micro-nutrients and/or additives, according to the formulation indicated for each type of crop and soil need.
Heringer's production process corresponds to the final phase of the NPK mixtures production chain.

Thus, the company mixes the basic fertilizers which, together with specific micronutrients, result in an appropriate formulation for a given crop. In short, the company's products are divided into:
Basic Fertilizers and NPK Formulations: Basic fertilizers are represented by raw materials such as urea, ammonium sulfate, potassium chloride, SSP, MAP, DAP, TSP, and others.
In contrast, NPK formulations are obtained through the industrial mixing of basic fertilizers according to consumer specifications.
Special Fertilizers: Most of the special fertilizers are exclusive products of the company. Fertilizantes Heringer has one of the largest portfolios of fertilizers in the market, with products that can be used in all crops.
The goal of developing the line of special fertilizers is to meet the nutritional needs of crops, thereby increasing productivity, enhancing the financial returns of producers, and improving the quality of final products.

In addition to fertilizers, the company offers its clients other services such as, for example, soil analysis incentive programs, pre and post-sale support, technical guidance, and technical lectures for rural producers.
The history of Fertilizantes Heringer began in 1968 when agronomist Dalton Dias Heringer founded the company in Minas Gerais. At that time, the company supplied fertilizers to coffee producers.
In 1973, the company began to expand its operations. Thus, it established itself in Espírito Santo with the aim of serving not only Espírito Santo but also Rio de Janeiro and Bahia.

Subsequently, in 1979, Heringer began operations in the state of São Paulo and significantly increased its customer base.
In 1985, the company expanded its operations in the state of São Paulo by establishing its own production unit in the city of Paulínia in São Paulo.
In 1994, the implementation of the coffee research center Eloy Carlos Hering (CEPEC) took place in Martins Soares, Minas Gerais, and in 1997, the production activities of fertilizers began in Paranaguá, Paraná.
In the following years, the company continued to build new units and increase its operations nationwide. For example, in 1998, a production unit was built in the city of Três Corações, Minas Gerais, and in 2005, the company constructed a production unit in Rosário do Catete, Sergipe.

The company's IPO took place in 2007, and Fertilizantes Heringer was listed in the highest corporate governance segment of the Stock Exchange, the Novo Mercado.
After the IPO, the company continued its path of expansion through the construction and acquisition of new units.
