With 51 years since its founding, and a leader in the inoculants market, the Grupo Vittia currently meets 25% of the national demand for soybean fertilizers, the country's largest agricultural product. It also operates in the crops of coffee, corn, beans, cotton, sugarcane, winter cereals, and citrus.
With eight factories dedicated to the production of inputs for modern agriculture, its product line currently includes:
adjuvants;
inoculants;
acaricides;
soil conditioners;
biological control;
foliar fertilizers;
organomineral fertilizers;
biofertilizers;
granulated micronutrients;
salts for agriculture and livestock.
In addition to four distribution centers across the country.
Focusing on the production of high-tech inputs for modern agriculture, the company always seeks to invest in research for the development of innovations for rural producers.
Founded in 1971 in the interior of the state of São Paulo, Grupo Vittia originated from the company Biosoja, seeking new technologies in nutrition to supply the Brazilian agricultural market. In 1998, it inaugurated Biosoja Fertilizantes, launching the first line of special fertilizers, which opened doors for the company's entry into other agricultural crops beyond soybeans.
Soon, in 2001, looking to strengthen its portfolio, the company acquired ML Industrias Químicas, contributing to its entry into the market for adjuvants and organomineral fertilizers. In 2004, it inaugurated Granorte, starting to recycle industrial waste.
In 2014, the company began a new phase of growth with minority investment from Brasil Sustentabilidade FIP – one of its current shareholders, applying new management and corporate governance practices. In the same year, it acquired Samaritá, in the field of fertilizer production and biological treatment of industrial effluents.
The group, as a way to mark its new positioning in the market, in 2016 changed its name to Grupo Vittia, representing the new expansion of the company's business. And in the following year, 2017, it obtained 80% of Biovalens, in the biological pesticides segment.
2020 was marked by the inauguration of the group's main factory, in São Joaquim da Barra – São Paulo, on an area of 110,000 m², considered the largest investment in the company's history. It also acquired 100% of Vitória Fertilizantes, and 80% of JB Biotecnologia this year.
In 2021, the company completed 50 years, a year marked by its constant growth, and also by the opening of its capital.
