Aeris is a Brazilian company, founded in 2010, specialized in the manufacture of wind blades. The company's strategic location contributes to a broad operation, where the company works with facilities such as “state-of-the-art” and effective processes developed by professionals specialized in high-quality product development.
Since its founding, Aeris' main objective has been to become a leader in its segment, with the help of processes developed with simplicity and qualified professionals. One of the differentiators that add value to the company is the production focused on quality and waste elimination.
Located in the Northeast region, 15 km from one of Brazil's main ports, near the city of Fortaleza – the capital of Ceará – the company has a concentration of 50% of Brazil's total wind potential. The location was chosen due to the country's wind map, where the winds are favorable, taking into account Brazil's territorial extension.
Due to its strategic location, Aeris develops logistical plans for the transportation of wind blades, and is able to serve a large part of Brazilian locations. In addition to the national market, the company is also present in the international market, where it develops reliable and fast logistical cycles for wind farms.
The company is responsible for all production processes, from raw material management to the delivery of the finished product. Aeris maintains a focus on quality, as well as ensuring traceability of the manufacturing phases, until the product – in this case, the wind blades – reaches the customers.
The history of Aeris began in 2010. The company was founded with the goal of becoming the largest in its sector, being a reference in the manufacture of wind blades. The idea of founding the company was born from a dream. In the beginning, the company overcame challenges, until it built a solid foundation with commitment, quality, and excellence.
Since its founding, Aeris, in addition to manufacturing blades, values its principles, relevance in operations, and preserving production processes without waste. With this, Aeris created the Winds Without Borders program and opened a branch, Aeris Service, in the USA. In the meantime, the company became the best company in the capital goods sector, as well as the 8th best company to work for in Ceará.
In 2013, the company launched the new project, Winds of the Future, and achieved ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHAS 18001 certifications. In addition, Aeris established the 5S model as its business model, based on people, safety, quality, finance, and sustainability.
The company's IPO was conducted in 2020, where the offered shares raised R$ 1.13 billion. Aeris' proposal is to use the money to modernize the two factories of the company, as well as increase production capacity.
