The company is present in all states of the country, with 43 own operation stations and 25 equity participation bases. It also has storage in 16 third-party stations and 8 logistics operators. Additionally, it is present in 88 airports across the five regions of Brazil.
Vibra operates in 5 operational segments, namely:

Founded in 1971, Vibra Energia S.A., formerly BR Distribuidora and Petrobrás Distribuidora, aimed to distribute petroleum-derived products, initially having 840 distribution stations throughout the country. Subsequently, in 1974, the company became the largest distributor of petroleum-derived products in Brazil.
Undergoing a brand modernization during the 1980s, with the merger of the brands Petrobras and BR in 1994, the company began to integrate this new visual across Petrobras stations throughout the country.
In 2002, the first Petrobrás station was launched in Argentina. Two years later, the assets of Agip in Brazil were acquired, increasing the company's market share in Liquefied Petroleum Gas. As a result, Liquigás was created. In 2005, sales of biodiesel began in the country, with BR Distribuidora being the pioneer in this segment in national territory.
Alvo was created in 2007, with the aim of managing the assets acquired from Ipiranga in the Central-West, North, and Northeast regions of Brazil, in conjunction with the Ultra group and Braskem.
In 2014, the gasoline Petrobras Grid was launched in the market; the year that the company also gained a new headquarters, the Edifício Lubrax, in Rio de Janeiro.
In 2017, the company conducted its initial public offering, returning to the stock market it had left in 2002. By 2021, completing 50 years of history, the company transformed this new phase with the rebranding to Vibra, symbolizing the new challenges of the company regarding the energy transition market in light of the ESG agenda.
