3Sou cliente Taurus desde os anos 90, os produtos sempre foram melhorando. Área muito exposta a politica, contudo no preço atual considero bem interessante. Muito difícil dar ruim a médio/longo prazo.

Taurus Armas is a company that operates in the industrial goods, weapons, and equipment sector. Specialized in the manufacture of firearms and accessories, helmets, containers, and plastics. In addition, it also operates in metal injection molding (Metal Injection Molding – MIM).

The Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos, a state-controlled company since 2014, is the main shareholder of Taurus. In Brazil, Taurus has three plants, two located in São Leopoldo, Rio Grande do Sul, one in Paraná, and another in the USA. Overall, the company exports to more than 100 countries.
With over 2,100 workers, Taurus is one of the largest revolver manufacturers in the world and the 4th best-selling brand in the USA. Due to its high standards of quality and innovation, Taurus has received dozens of awards.
Initially, Taurus was founded as a generic forge, but in 1940, it specialized in the manufacture of revolvers. By 1980, established in the arms market, the company was already producing various models of tactical weapons and pistols.

In addition to firearms, the company also manufactures airsoft guns, bulletproof vests, and helmets for motorcyclists. Taurus also produces plastic containers and steel parts through the metal injection molding method.
Taurus is listed on the Brazilian Stock Exchange with common shares (ON) and preferred shares (PN), under the codes TASA3 and TASA4, respectively.
The history of Taurus is closely related to the history of the world wars. This is because the company was founded in 1939, shortly before the start of World War II. Before that, in Brazil, the then-president at the time, Getúlio Vargas, was already advocating that the country should invest more efficiently in industrialization.
Thus, with the support of the president, a group of entrepreneurs from Rio Grande do Sul decided to found a tool factory which soon began producing its own weapon. In 1942, the company began revolver production and shortly thereafter started building a new factory to meet production demand.

Two years later, in 1950, Taurus already had two factories, which had the capability to manufacture their own tools. During the 1960s and 1970s, the company underwent an expansion process through product diversification. The growth contributed to the construction of a new factory.
After heavily investing in infrastructure and development, the company expanded its operations to the international market and inaugurated Taurus International Manufacturing in 1981 in Florida, USA.
From then on, the company's growth only increased, and Taurus became recognized as one of the largest weapons manufacturers in the world, receiving various international recognitions.
In order to continue the process of expanding the company's capabilities, Taurus transferred its headquarters in the United States in 2019 to a new manufacturing center located in southern Georgia, with over 18,000 square meters.

Additionally, as one of the company's latest actions, Taurus signed a joint venture with an important Indian company with the aim of supporting the current Indian government's program called 'Make in India.' The government's intention is to attract high-tech manufacturers to the country.
