Basically, Schulz Automotive is known as the largest foundry, machining, KTL painting, and assembly in its operating segment. Additionally, the company also operates in the replacement market, offering brake systems and accessories for medium and large commercial vehicles, as well as agricultural machinery.

On the other hand, Schulz Compressors Ltda. is classified as the largest manufacturer of piston and screw air compressors in Latin America. In total, the company has more than 10,000 distributors, in addition to 700 technical assistants. Thus, the company is the largest in the world in its operating segment.
Among the products that are part of the company's portfolio, the following stand out:
Alternative piston compressors;
Diaphragm and screw from 5 to 250 hp;
Refrigeration and adsorption air dryers;
Line filters and coalescing filters;
Condensate separators;
Pneumatic tools;
Electric tools;
Accessories for residential, professional, and industrial applications.
With the IPO conducted in 1994, the company achieved milestones that secured the renowned position it holds today. In total, the Schulz brand is present in more than 70 countries, with industrial parks and distribution centers in Brazil and around the world.

The history of Schulz began in 1963, when Heinz Schulz, with only a few resources and a few employees, decided to unite a group of friends and entrepreneurs to found what was then Metalúrgica Schulz.
At that time, the businessman invited Ronald Braatz, Herbert Theilacker, Norberto Ritzmann, Guilherme Urban, as well as his son Gert H. Schulz and Ovandi Rosenstock, who is currently the president of the company and has been part of the company's history since its founding.

At the time the company was founded, Heinz Schulz's youngest son, Waldir Carlos Schulz, was only 13 years old. Currently, the businessman is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Vice President.
United and eager to grow, Heinz Schulz and the group of friends and entrepreneurs aimed to take the metallurgical company into a line of hand tools, where it would be possible to fasten, tighten, and cut products. In 1972, the market was focused on growth, and to keep pace, Schulz decided to invest in alternative piston compressors.
Initially, the company started operations with two small models, the ½ and 1 hp. Over time, the company sought new ways to modernize, looking for higher capacity models.
Ten years later, already in 1982, the company was the absolute leader in its operating segment, being the largest in the piston air market in Brazil. The following year, the company gained a foothold in the international market due to the success and quality of its products. By 1985, Schulz was already a leader in its segment in Latin America.

The growth and constant pursuit of evolution led the company to become the first in the Brazilian market to produce screw rotary compressors with its own engineering. By the 1990s, the company acquired the controlling interest of its largest competitor, Tecnomecânica S.A., which belonged to the Dresser Group, owner of the Wayne brand.
In 1994, in addition to the IPO, the company achieved the milestone of 1 million compressors produced and sold. Later, in 1999, Schulz consolidated itself in the North American market after the creation of Schulz of America Inc., becoming a reference in its operating segment.
Currently, Schulz is recognized as one of the largest and most complete air compressor manufacturers in the world. The recognition comes from the complete line of products aimed at the treatment and storage of compressed air. Additionally, the company is present in more than 70 countries, providing solutions for compressed air and equipment for domestic and industrial use.
