Panatlântica is a company dedicated exclusively to the processing and re-rolling of flat steels.
The company is positioned among the most modern flat steel service centers in Brazil. Basically, the company works with:
Re-rolled strips;
Tiles and accessories;
Profiles;
Strips in coils;
Sheets;
Cut strips / Blanks.

Panatlântica is one of the main plants in the production of re-rolled strips at the national level, being the only one in this segment with a factory installed in the south of the country.
The company has a total of 172 employees and its product portfolio serves various industrial segments such as, for example, the leather footwear sector, civil construction, agricultural implements and machinery, white goods, automotive, household and commercial utilities, road implements, among others.
Currently, Panatlântica has 7 units that have steel processing lines to serve the market.
The units are strategically located in the South of Brazil, which helps to reduce logistical costs and ensures greater agility in delivery.
Panatlântica was founded on October 1, 1952, in the city of Porto Alegre. It was created with the purpose of marketing flat steels in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

In 1955, Panatlântica began processing steels and in 1968 it started using the name Aços Laminados Panatlântica S.A.
In 1971, the company became a publicly traded company. It is listed on the stock exchange in the Basic Materials sector and in the Iron and Steel Artifacts segment.
A few years later, in 1976, the company began operations in a new service center, built in the Industrial District of Gravataí, located 25 km from the city of Porto Alegre.
It still occupies an area of 23 ha, in a manufacturing park with approximately 23,000 m² of built area. In 1987, the company adopted the corporate name Panatlântica S.A.
Subsequently, in 2010 the company had CSN as a new shareholder. In 2013, the company expanded its activities through the acquisition of Atkore in Caxias do Sul, which today has the corporate name Panatlântica Tubos S.A.
