Mangels acts as a supplier to the largest companies in the automotive, truck, motorcycle, bus, and appliance industries, as well as to all gas companies in Brazil, in addition to a strong international presence. The products offered by the company are:
Wheels: Mangels produces original wheels for cars and light commercial vehicles for the largest manufacturers present in Latin America. The company works with wheels ranging from 13 to 20 inches, with various types of finishes such as painted and diamond-cut wheels.

GLP Cylinders: Mangels was a pioneer in 1938 in the manufacture of liquefied petroleum gas (GLP) cylinders. Currently, most Brazilian households and the majority of countries in Latin America use Mangels cylinders.
In addition to the factory where the cylinders are produced, the company also has a cylinder exchange center and six GLP cylinder requalification workshops, where the cylinders are recovered according to ABNT and ANP standards.
Air Reservoirs: Through air reservoir products, Mangels operates in the heavy vehicle, air compressor, and agricultural machinery markets.
Air reservoirs are essential for the braking systems of buses, trucks, and agricultural machines. With this product, Mangels serves the main manufacturers of heavy vehicles in Brazil and important compressor factories.
Rear Axle: Mangels produces rear axles for some models of light vehicles. With this product, the company serves manufacturers and system companies in the automotive market.

In addition to the products offered, Mangels also operates through a Steel Service Center (CSA), located in the Industrial Hub of Manaus, since 2008. The site has approximately 15,000m² of total area and an installed capacity of 25,000 tons/year in flat steel processing for stamping.
Serving the motorcycle, electronics, and hardware accessories and components segments, Mangels uses longitudinal, transverse, and cutting lines to supply rolls, blanks, and sheets of low carbon and high strength steel.
In 1928, Max Mangels Junior and Heinrich Kreutzberg founded Mangels & Kreutzberg Ltda. The company produced galvanized buckets in a small factory in the Mooca neighborhood of São Paulo.
Ten years later, the company responded to a request from Cia. Ultragaz and began producing liquefied petroleum gas (GLP) cylinders. Subsequently, the company developed the P13, a cylinder with a capacity of 13 kg of gas, which became the official model of domestic GLP cylinder in Brazil.

By 1958, Mangels began producing steel wheels for light vehicles, and in 1963 the company changed its name to Mangels Industrial S/A. In its growth trajectory, the company acquired Bratal Ferro e Aço S/A, a Steel Service Center, in 1966.
With this acquisition, Mangels also became a company for service and distribution of flat steel. Over the years, to expand its operations, the company also invested in a new factory for re-rolled steel in São Bernardo do Campo (SP) and a new factory for GLP cylinders in Três Corações (MG).
An important detail about Mangels' history is that in 2013 it had to resort to judicial recovery to restructure itself operationally and financially. Its plan was approved in December 2014.
Few companies manage to survive judicial recovery. But Mangels succeeded, and in 2017 its judicial recovery was concluded, approved by the 2nd Bankruptcy and Judicial Recovery Court of São Paulo.

Since then, the company continues to have a strong presence in the market, and in 2018 it received IATF 16949 certification and an upgrade of ISO 9001. In 2019, the launch of the new painting line with Acrylic Varnish took place. The company was the first in South America to offer this type of finish to the market.
