Trevisa Investimentos is a holding company, therefore, it is dedicated to controlling other companies. Currently, Trevisa's main activity is the transportation of bulk goods and general cargo by waterways.
It does this through its subsidiary, Navegação Aliança Ltda. In summary, Navegação Aliança was founded in 1931 and has a cargo capacity of over 75 tons, divided among more than 20 vessels.
The company's fleet is the largest in operation in the Southern Basin and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at major terminals such as Pelotas, Rio Grande, and Porto Alegre.

In addition to its operations through Navegação Aliança, Trevisa is also dedicated to leasing commercial spaces in its headquarters building, which is located in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul.
This building has a robust infrastructure in a space of 6,000 m² and can be reserved for various events. The location offers some amenities such as, for example:
Meeting rooms;
Public café;
Access control;
Training rooms;
Party hall;
Changing room;
24-hour reception.
Trevisa Investimentos was founded in 1930 by Frederico Madörin, Germano Becker, and João Mallman, former employees of Luchsinger & Cia Ltda.
Initially, Trevisa Investimentos was called Luchsinger, Madörin & Cia Ltda and focused on the production of fertilizers. For decades, the company operated pioneeringly as an important player in the fertilizer sector in Brazil.

In 1963, the company changed its name to Luchsinger Madörin Comercial and became a holding company. Also in 1963, Indústria Luchsinger Madörin was founded.
By 1971, Indústria Luchsinger Madörin purchased Fazenda Sarita, located in the municipality of Rio Grande. In 1972, the company expanded its business by creating Emagal Empreendimentos Gaúchos and began planting eucalyptus and pine forests.
At the end of the 1970s, Navegação Aliança was acquired. At that time, it had only three vessels and today it has the largest fleet in the Southeast Basin.
In 1982, Trevisa went public on the stock exchange, where it is listed in the Industrial Goods sector and the Waterway Transportation segment. Shortly after, the company acquired the Trevisa Business Center, which is the company's headquarters to this day.
Indústria Luchsinger Madörin (now Adubos Trevo) was sold in 2000 to the Norwegian company Norsk Hydro. As a result, Trevisa's activities were limited solely to navigation and reforestation.

Finally, in 2019, Trevisa Investimentos decided to focus the business solely on navigation. Thus, it sold its assets of Emagal Empreendimentos Gaúchos (now Trevor Florestal – Treflor).
