Cedro Têxtil is a Brazilian company in the industrial sector, headquartered in Belo Horizonte, focused on the production of textile and clothing items. In total, the company has a production capacity of 168 million square meters of fabric per year.

Among the products marketed by the company are brins, denims, and screens, which are part of the professional market as well as the fashion industry. The company also has four factories located in the state of Minas Gerais, specifically in the cities of Sete Lagoas, Pirapora, and Caetanópolis.
The company's factories generate a total of 3,000 jobs, which also include two distribution centers located in Contagem and Pirapora. In addition, Cedro Têxtil is certified with ISO 14001 and ISO 9001, and maintains an ecological reserve in Serra do Cipó, Minas Gerais.

Basically, the company operates with two business lines: jeanswear, which focuses on fashion, and workwear, aimed at the production of uniforms. Currently, Cedro Têxtil has been investing in improving industrial processes to integrate a range of services into its products, such as technical and fashion consulting.
With over 140 years of history, Cedro Têxtil was founded in 1872 in the city of Taboleiro Grande. That year, brothers Bernardo, Caetano, and Antônio Cândido Mascarenhas decided to jointly establish the Cedro factory.
In 1877, the brothers created the Cachoeira textile industry, which later, in 1883, merged with Cedro. Throughout its history, the company has always sought to modernize and expand the manufacturing park where it produced its main products.

Despite the company's grandeur, in 2014, Cedro Têxtil had to negotiate its debts due to a crisis, and as a result, reduced its workforce.
One of the measures taken to overcome the crisis was the sale of the Pacífico Mascarenhas power generation center in 2017 for R$ 8.7 million. In the following year, the company achieved a gross revenue of R$ 768.2 million and, compared to the previous year, recorded a growth of 3.6%.
